Mine Art Gallery which has started its art life with a thought of bringing different interpretations to artistic and exhibiting practices in 1985, in Kadikoy, still continues its activities in Nisantasi and Yalikavak venues. Mine Gulener who is the curator of “Contemporary Art 1985”, bringing the exhibition together with the art lovers on 21sth March 2015, this exhibition presents us the materials of the gallery archive and also the works of 40 artists, which have been produced in the years between 1985-1990. This exhibition is very essential in means of sharing its 30 years of process with the art lovers. Throughout this exhibition period, documentary of gallery which composed of the photographs, videos, interviews and many visual materials collected since the foundation of the gallery, will be shared with the audience. In addition to this documentary, throughout the exhibition period, conversations will be realized about the transformation of Turkish Art in a 30 year old period. Participants will have the opportunity to watch the video records of the first exhibitions of the gallery. In March 2015, Mine Art Gallery published a book composed of three volumes with the reason of turning 30. The book which represents the history of the corporation through the artists, gives place to 70 artists, who opened individual exhibitions, in the first and second volumes, and the third volume composed of the group exhibitions, all the fairs and activities that the gallery has attended in 30 years. Also, interviews with the artists, collectors and art writers included in the book except the images, press articles and photographs from the 30 year old gallery archive.
